The South

The parks of Southern Tanzania are truly special for us, as these are where we grew up, lived and worked.  The South still has the feeling of being un-charted and here you are able to drive in open sided vehicles and have more opportunities to walk, boat and flycamp.  The South has a slower pace, but its animals, flora and fauna are abundant.  For families there can be even more adventure, and more freedom to explore off the beaten track.  Ruaha is gem of a park, whilst The Selous has some of the best opportunities for walking safaris in Africa.
